Roles and User Rights Management

When creating a Healthcare Professional account, there are 3 main roles that you can choose from, each with different access rights.

Physician

The Physician is any physician at the center who uses OdySight. They have all rights: Prescribing OdySight, to qualify the patient’s decrease in Visual Acuity, and access patient profiles and test results. By granting them administrator status, you can also allow them to make changes to the Center’s information and add additional collaborators. There is also an option to allow them to see all patients at the center.

Physicians may be linked to Medical and Non-Medical personnel.

Medical Personnel

Medical Personnel must be linked to a physician and can only access patient’s profiles and vision test results – they cannot prescribe OdySight or qualify the patient’s decrease in Visual Acuity. They may be given access to all patients at the center, but their access to rights remains the same.

Non-Medical Personnel

Non-medical Personnel only have the right to access patient’s profiles; they may not prescribe the app, qualify the patient’s decrease in Visual Acuity or access the patient’s vision test results. Like Medical Personnel, they must be linked to a physician. They may be granted access to all patients at the center, but their rights remain the same.
