Certain criteria are essential to ensure the appropriate use of OdySight. It is important to check that a patient meets all of these criteria before prescribing the app. To make sure that your patient can use OdySight, be sure that they have:
- binocular visual acuity with habitual correction equal to or better than 20/63 (0,5 logMAR or 3/10)*
- a smartphone that meets the specifications required by the app (for more information, you can read the article Compatible devices list)
- an email address to create an account and receive messages in case of Visual Acuity decreases.
- the ability to use the app and complete the vision tests remotely, without the guidance of a physician
Patients who meet these criteria are eligible to receive an OdySight prescription.
⚠️ The OdySight app is contraindicated for epileptic users.
* An eye with a corrected visual acuity lower than 20/200 (1 logMAR or 1/10) will not be tested by the app.
