How are decreases in Visual Acuity triggered?

After each OdySight vision test, your patients’ test results are sent to you. They are accessible from your OdySight Dashboard.  

When the results appear to change, the application triggers a pre-alert. The patient then receives a message inviting them to do a second vision test the next day. This test will confirm the change.  

If the results from the second vision test confirm this change, an alert is triggered. The patient then receives a SMS and an email inviting them to contact you and they will be added to the list of patients with alerts on your Dashboard. Patients with alerts are displayed in red in this list.  

On the contrary, if the results do not confirm this change the pre-alert will be cancelled.  

The alert system only applies to the Visual Acuity test. To keep up with your patients’ results related to the Amsler Grid, you can go directly to your OdySight Dashboard and then on your patients’ profile.
